My name is Alessandro Lacava (a.k.a. Ale or Sandro) and I was born on the 31st of January 1976, in Reggio Calabria, Italy.
I hold a degree in Engineering and work as a Software Engineer. I also write technical articles, as a freelance, for IT magazines.
During my career I’ve been involved in designing and developing applications using many different programming languages and technologies, such as: Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, UML, Java (ME – SE – EE), .NET, PHP, C, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Oracle, PL/SQL, MySQL, XML, XSL, JSON.
At the moment, I’m mostly involved in designing and developing the indexing part of search engines and web applications.
